You try the flow with sample data in the test environment and publish with one click. When deep custom integration is needed there's also an API layer — but day to day, you're not dependent on IT.

Workflows was designed with that experience: it connects to your existing ITSM tool through ready-made connectors — opening records, querying status, collecting approvals. The flow pauses — it doesn't get lost. The failed step retries automatically according to the rule you define; if it still fails, the flow diverts to the fallback path you set up, or is held safely while an SLA alert goes to the right person. Since every step's input and output sits in the audit log, the point of failure can be inspected in seconds; you fix the step and resume from where it stopped, or roll back safely.
